…nachdem seit dem letzten 5 Tagen 412 Neuanmeldungen im alten Forum im eMail – Postfach lagen, habe ich nun, auch wenn es eigentlich keinen Sinn macht, alle Filter und User auf NULL gesetzt und will einfach mal sehen, wer sich noch so anmeldet. Eine Freischaltung ist nicht mehr nötig, auch keine eMail – Bestätigung. Kein CrackerTracker (oder so ähnlich).

Leider ist es eine Tatsache, dass ich wegen diesem Driss den Forumsanbieter gewechselt habe und das neue Forum 2/3 Beiträge und Mitglieder verloren hat. Das alte Forum war vorher äusserlich viel schöner und viel einladender und ich bin sehr verärgert, dass es so weit gekommen ist.
Natürlich soll man immer nach vorne und nicht nach hinten sehen, das möchte ich auch tun und kann nur hoffen, dass das Forum irgendwann seine Klasse zurück gewinnt:-)
„The Management“ von xphpbb.com sollte vielleicht mehr darauf achten, was ihre User für Wünsche und Anregungen äussern und Kritik nicht einfach im Hilfe – Forum mit dummen bemerkungen woanders hinschieben und darauf setzen, dass andere User helfen… Wegen mir können die Forumsanbieter auch für etwas Kleingeld mehr Service bieten!
GERADE bei xphpbb.com ist das ein Problem: mal ist das eigene Profil nicht zugänglich, mal die Mitgliederübersicht, dann hat der Spam überhaupt keine Probleme sich auszubreiten… Ist das so richtig?
Naja, ich konnte schon mindestens 15 Leute davon überzeugen, ihr Forum woanders zu eröffnen und NICHT bei xphpbb.com:-)

Man kann auch ein phpBB-Forum gegen Spammer schützen, das macht ein bisschen Arbeit ist es aber wert. Leider scheint xphpbb das nicht zu interessieren.
